Really Bored...
It's late and I'm not tired. I'm extremley bored and with that, here is my warning: This is not going to be spell checked, nor will it make any sense (probably).

I absolutley love Norah Jones. She's just simply amazing. I'm listening to one of her newer songs, Sunrise, off of her new CD Feels Like Home. I would really love to fly out to California to see her live. I've heard that she is just as good live as she is on her CD's. Which, might I add, is high quality now-a-days. With all the lip singing that Brittany Spears and all those other teeny boppers do, it's amazing that someone actually sings when they performe. However, Norah Jones is far from a teeny bopper. What I love about Norah Jones is that her voice is so whole, full, and calming. She's usually perfect for me to fall asleep to, however, tonight I just cannot get pass the heavy eyes and hopeful wishing. Just too much on my mind. Also, another compliment for Norah Jones is that she is an amazing pianist and song writer. Truly a great musician. So - anyone want to catch a flight with me to California? I'm ready to go now that I keep listening to her. I also love the song that she sang with Ray Charles, Here We Go Again. Great song.

So you are saying the best music is the music that puts you to sleep?
Nah, not exactly. Music that is well written is the best type of music (for me.)
I love music in general, but orchestrated music is awesome to me. I think it may have to do with the fact that I've played the Violin for about 8 years now.
*Plus, I warned you, it wouldn't make all that much sense =)*
I'm with you, Sam...i love orchestra and piano etc in music...it makes it soo much more beautiful! These other people just dont understand our minds! haha! (that's probably a good thing! haha!)

Hey, I didn't say I didn't like Norah Jones, twas just a jab at your comment about falling asleep.
I'm a big fan myself of all them old types of music and instruments. Put a flute or violin in a song, it gets better. There are two types of music I do not like on the whole--commercial country and death metal. The former because of the usual subject matter and diction and the latter because it is crap.
i don't like death metal not because it's crap, but because it's basically 4 people beating the shit out of instruments and screaming unintelligible "lyrics" into hapless microphones. poor, poor microphones. so, ok it's crap.
